What: Single Day Men's 5 vs 5 Flag Football Money Tournament
Who: OPEN to ALL MEN
When: Saturday, September 16, 2023
Where:  Welsh Park in Rockville, MD (Grass Fields)

TYPE OF TOURNEY: Triple Threat Flag, 5 vs 5 MEN'S, LIMITED LINE BLOCKING ONLY

Time:  9 am - 4 pm (maximum range though we may end sooner than 3 pm)

TEAM Cost: $250 (paid in full by captain or team member via Zelle or Cashapp only)

PRIZE: $500* to winning team assuming at least 6 paid teams (via Cash App or Zelle no later than the first Monday after the tournament)!

ENTRY FEE of $250 MUST BE PAID VIA ZELLE (info@playrasl.com) or Cashapp ($Ghonkaba) in order to keep the fees low.

If you want to pay online via credit card or via venmo or paypal, there will be an additional $20 processing fee added!

Early registration discount of $20 (so price will be reduced to $230) if paid by Friday 08/25/23!

*NOTE: Due to accounting and legal guidelines, we cannot offer CASH payment! At least 6 teams needed for the tourney to be a GO! If we have 8 teams than we will add a second place price of $250 as well.

REGISTRATION RESTRICTIONS: We will take FIRST 8 PAID TEAMS MAX

ROSTER SIZE: Minimum of 5 but maximum of 10 players

RULES - TRADITONAL 5 on 5 FLAG FOOTBALL RULES and FIELD SIZE (60 yards long by 25 yards wide) with the FOLLOWING EXCEPTIONS:

• RASL Line of Scrimmage open palm blocking contact rules apply. No bump and run in secondary! All players are eligible receivers.
• QB cannot run unless rushed. If no rush, 5 count for QB to throw.
• Only one lateral allowed behind offensive line of scrimmage.
• Halves are 12 mins long with one min in between halves.
• TWO 30 sec timeouts per game.
• Clock will stop at 1 min of second half it is one score game or less (8 points).

TOURNEY FORMAT: 4 ROUND ROBIN GAMES for seeding purposes. If we have 8 teams, the top 4 makes the single elimination playoffs.

Must be 18+ to play.

REGISTRATION DEADLINE IS SEPTEMBER 5th, 2023. However it is first come first served. FIRST 8 paid teams get in!

HOW TO REGISTER:

1) Email us at info@playrasl.com ASAP to alert us that you want to register a team and how you want to pay for the team (Zelle, CashApp or Credit Card online)

2) We will give you full instructions on how to send the team payment.

3) Once payment is received, we will help you setup your team online and invite all your players.
