MIN 14 - MAX 20 players (assuming min team amount has been paid)

ALL Rosters must be approved by the league.

GAME DURATION

Two 23 min halves with a halftime break of 2 minutes (REGULAR SEASON)

SCHEDULE

6 regular season games All teams usually have at least ONE doubleheader.

Single elimination playoff for ALL teams. Playoffs may be broken into two divisions. Playoff structure will be announced after registration is closed and the schedule is released.

SEASON RANGE

(SATURDAYS) 09/14/2024 - 11/02/2024 (but season could extend based on rainouts and playoffs through 11/23/2024)

(TIME RANGE) 9 am - 1 pm ET (last game ending approximation)

DIVISIONS

RFFL reserves the right to assign teams into separate divisions if needed for the sake of competitive balance.

Register as a team or as a free agent (see rule below).

FREE AGENTS

Free agents have the option to request being grouped with other free agent friends when registering using the SMALL GROUP OPTION. Free agents that are not placed on a team will receive a full refund. Free agents CANNOT specifically ask to join an existing team.

REGISTRATION FEES

Our fees make it very affordable to play. We take care of the permits, referees, equipment, and website maintenance. All you must do is concentrate on playing and having fun.

Due to the increasing cost of collecting payments from INDIVIDUAL players, RFFL will offer early bird discounts for teams that 1) make the FULL TEAM payment through one player (captain or team designated financier who will collect from the individual players but pay the league one lump sum for the team) and/or 2) an ADDITIONAL discount if payment is made by the EARLY bird deadline and payment for the maximum discount (best value).

TEAM REGISTRATION with Upfront FULL TEAM LUMP SUM PAYMENT

Captain or select player pays for the entire team in FULL. Cost is $675 for this option if paid before payment deadline as listed on our RFFL 2024 Fall Pricing Plan.

*Created for established teams who have a captain or team player who can pay upfront cost for the team and then collect from players at a BEST discount!

**If you can pay the ENTIRE team fee by August 20th (2024), please contact us for an ADDITIONAL DISCOUNT.

**Created for established and new (non free agent teams) who can put together a roster and then collect internally so a one lump sum discount payment can be made for BIG discount!

NOTE - To choose this option, you must first email the league at info@playrasl.com and ask the league to register as a FULL TEAM LUMP SUM PAYMENT PLAN. Please do not register before emailing the league! Once a team is paid for, the league will then set you up with a TEAM registration where you can invite your teammates without having them pay individually. THIS is the most cost-effective method of registration. If you do not email the league first, the DEFAULT team registration is INDIVIDUAL pay team which is much more expensive.

TEAM REGISTRATION with INDIVIDUAL Player PAYMENT

Captain can register a team as an individual player payment plan. This is the DEFAULT setting for team registration. You do not need to email the league to set up this type of team. Cost is $60 per player, and you must have a MINIMUM of 14 paid players before your team can be scheduled. EARLY BIRD: If you as an individual pay by August 23 2024 preferably via ZELLE (rockvilleflagfootball@gmail.com) or CASHAPP ($Ghonkaba), we will discount it down to $50!!!

FREE AGENT PRICING SPECIAL!!!

PAYMENT DEADLINE

ALL Teams and players must be paid by September 8th 2024 to be added to the Season Schedule. If you are not paid by then, RFFL reserves the right to fill the team with free agents at our discretion.

ALL payments made after September 8th will be assessed an additional late fee of $5!

PAYMENT METHODS

One of the largest expenses for a league (especially a local mom and pop one like in RASL) is the cost of collecting payment and late payments.

Thus, RFFL has gone out of its way to make it easier and affordable while trying to balance our books.

A - Zelle (PREFERRED METHOD OF COLLECTION) - This is the most effective way to offer our largest discounts to you. Zelle is very easy to use and set up with your bank. And it is usually an instantaneous transaction. Our Zelle account is rockvilleflagfootball@gmail.com for your convenience.

B - Cash App (TEAM EARLY BIRD PAYMENTS ARE NOT ELIGIBLE FOR THIS METHOD OF PAYMENT)- The cost and rules of collecting payment via these methods have changed effective this year per IRS. But we will still offer them if need be. Thus, NO EARLY BIRD TEAM payments will be accepted via Cash App. We can only afford to offer those discounts via ZELLE. Our Cash App account is $Ghonkaba for your convenience.

C - Online via credit card (ANY EARLY BIRD PAYMENTS ARE NOT ELIGIBLE FOR THIS METHOD OF PAYMENT)- We do not charge you for the exorbitant fees we have to pay for using this method or most other leagues pass on to you as consumer. Thus, NO EARLY BIRD TEAM or INDIVIDUAL payments will be accepted via CREDIT CARD. We can only afford to offer those discounts via ZELLE or Cash App.

NOTE - Since reading the waiver is part of the registration process, all players who registered are assumed to have read our waiver and are automatically OPTED IN (so a signature is not necessary as the completion of registration serves as a player's affirmation to full agreement to all terms of our waiver) unless they notify RFFL via email that they want to OPT out of the waiver by the registration deadline date or the actual day of their registration (whichever comes later). RFFL reserves the right to not allow anyone who OPTS OUT of the waiver to participate in our leagues.

REFUND POLICY

RFFL only offers refunds when you cannot be placed on a team OR if a league does not fill up. We do not offer refunds for injuries, time missed or choosing not to play for whatever reason after the season has started.
